Currently Undersecretary for Food and Nutritional Security of Belo Horizonte, Darklane Rodrigues Dias holds a degree in Social Service from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais, and is a postgraduate student in Public and Legislative Policy. She has experience in managing public policies in the Executive Power and acting in the Legislative Power. She advised the Department of Labor and Social Development, focusing on public policies on food and nutrition security, solidarity economy and family farming, and the Parliamentary Front for the Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais - ALMG.

Atualmente Subsecretária de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional de Belo Horizonte, Darklane Rodrigues Dias é Graduada em Serviço Social pela Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, e pós-graduanda em Políticas Públicas e Legislativo. Tem experiência na gestão de políticas públicas no Poder Executivo e atuação no Poder Legislativo. Assessorou a Secretaria de Trabalho e Desenvolvimento Social, com foco nas políticas públicas de segurança alimentar e nutricional, economia solidária e agricultura familiar e a Frente Parlamentar de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente da Assembleia Legislativa de Minas Gerais -  ALMG.
