Iñaki Gaztelumendi
Iñaki Gaztelumendi is an economist and has worked for over 20 years in the tourism sector in the areas of tourist destination management, strategic planning and project development. He worked as Director of Tourism for Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and is currently a consultant specialized in strategy in the tourism sector, and founder of the tourism consultancy Verne Tourism Experts S.L. In the field of gastronomy, Iñaki is an associate professor of the Master in Gastronomic Tourism and advisor to the gastronomic tourism program at the Basque Culinary Center (BCC). He was Technical Director of the World Forum on Gastronomic Tourism of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) / BCC and is co-author, with Amaia López de Heredia, of the Guide for the Development of Gastronomic Tourism prepared by the UNWTO and the BCC.
